Costa Brava #7 evokes the rugged, elemental beauty of the Costa Brava coastline in Spain, where I live part of the year. Expanses of luminous blue dominate the composition, echoing the open sky and Mediterranean waters—serene yet shaped by time and tide. Along the lower half, layered bands of earthy browns and muted charcoals suggest rocky cliffs, eroded seabeds, and ancient coastal walls, bearing the marks of wind, salt, and memory.
